As you can see in the worksheet above, I have keyed in the expenses that I had for the month. Though that's just an example, since your expenses might be very different.
Just below "regular bills," I listed all my regular expenses, including the minimum payments on my credit cards. For this particular month, I spent $3716 on regular bills.
Unfortunately, I also had unexpected bills; listed on the right-hand-side, under Extra Bills: My car broke down; I had to go to the doctor and buy medicine, etc... My extra bills added up to $1410, that's a lot.
During the same time, our earnings where $3500 + $1000 and I got a bonus for $250.
At the end, my savings balance was only $2574, so I was loosing money.
Fortunately, my essential oils business got me $652, which is about the lowest level for a starting executive with a very small team... Some executives make in excess of $12500...
