With the apparition of the Zika virus in Brazil last year and its spread to several US states in 2017, getting protection against mosquito bites is now a necessity.
DISCLAIMER: the product described below and the essential oils have NO EFFECT against the Zika virus, they work as a DETERRENT or REPELLENT against mosquito bites and may help you avoid getting the virus in the first place.
Hi, my name is Dakota-Marie Hoover-Sessions
Imagine you were on a summer trek in the mountains, and you are coming back upset and red with itchy nasty mosquito bites. The sad part? Your best friends innocently declare that they don’t have anything. Or the day after a night in a tent when you find your body burning with bites. However, your campmates are unharmed.
How can that happen? About 20% of people are the creme-de-la-creme for mosquitoes and are bitten more frequently on a regular basis. While experts don’t yet have a remedy for the problem, other than blocking mosquito bites with insect repellent, they do have some opinions regarding why some of us are more inclined to bites than others.
Below are some of the reasons why mosquitoes have declared war on you and not your best friend.

Mosquitoes are carrying viruses and parasites
What kind of disease is associated with mosquito bite?
Mosquito-borne diseases are caused by bacteria, viruses or parasites transmitted by mosquitoes. Mosquitoes can transmit those diseases without being even affected themselves.
Diseases transmitted by mosquitoes include:
To avoid getting a disease because of a mosquito bite, you need to be protected. Remember that the goal of the essential oils bracelet is not to cure from the disease but to prevent a bite and thus to prevent getting the disease on the 1st place.
I live in the US, I am not at risk, right?
If you think you are NOT at risk, you are just kidding yourself! According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, West Nile virus has been detected in all lower 48 states, but not in Hawaii or Alaska. The top 25 worst mosquito cities in the US are:
Harvey, Irma damages predicted to cost $290 billion & bring million of mosquitoes
People have described Hurricanes Harvey and Irma as disasters of biblical proportions, and it seems the next plague is upon us. Thanks to unimaginable filthy standing water, millions of mosquitos are starting to hatch. And yes, they do bite. Don't be fooled, they love to bite, and they will bite you.
Are you protected?
The mosquito population increases dramatically after major flooding events as dormant eggs hatch. Some types of mosquitoes will spread viruses like Zika, dengue, or West Nile.
In Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida, there will soon be a lot of mosquitoes!
Mosquitoes will be very obvious, because of their sheer numbers and because they are vicious biters. Eventually, the threat of West Nile and Zika will come back. West Nile is a great concern. The virus has been planted in Texas at least since 2002, and last year, there were 370 recorded cases. While the floodwater mosquitoes will be a conspicuous pain in the ass for the next few weeks in the areas affected by Harvey and Irma, the more dangerous mosquitoes will eventually come back. For instance, after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the West Nile Virus wasn’t a major problem for New Orleans, but the following year saw twice as many cases in the area than were recorded before the storm.

Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and Florida can do their best to temper the mosquito explosion for now. They just need to eradicate any standing water that could become a breeding pool.
Why do mosquitoes bite me?
The most amazing thing about mosquito bites is that we are not equal in front of mosquitoes.
As astonishing as it may sound, some people are more prone to mosquito bites, and some other people will never be bothered. Blood type, metabolism, exercise, sweat, DNA, shirt color and even drinking beer can make certain individuals overly delicious to mosquitoes
REMEMBER: If you have been bitten by a mosquito and your are pregnant, IMMEDIATELY CONSULT A HEALTH SPECIALIST.
Our ADN account for up to 85% of our potential to be bitten by mosquitoes! Scientists now know that our blood type makes us more prone to mosquito bites.
Not surprisingly, several blood types are more appetizing to mosquitoes than others. Mosquitoes bite people with Type O blood nearly twice as much as those with Type A. Those with Type B blood are somehow in the center of this itching ladder. On top of that, about 85% of people sweat a compound through their skin revealing to mosquitoes what blood type they have. 15% do not. Mosquitoes are also more drawn to secretors than non-secretors regardless of which blood they have..
Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
One of the techniques mosquitoes find their targets is by detecting the CO2 in the air. They can smell carbon dioxide from as far as 164ft away. So people who naturally exhale more of the gas over time—generally, bigger people—have been shown to lure more mosquitoes than others. That's one of the reasons why kids are bitten less often than adults.
Pregnant women attract twice as many mosquito bites as others, because of the unfortunate confluence of two factors: - They exhale about 21% more CO2 - They are about 1.26 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than others.
This one might seem absurd, but mosquitoes also use vision to find you, so wearing clothing that stands out may make you easier to find.
Metabolism & Exercise
In addition to Co2, mosquitoes find victims at closer range by smelling the lactic acid, uric acid, ammonia and other substances expelled via your sweat. They are also attracted to people with higher body temperatures. If you exercise a lot, the buildup of lactic acid and heat in your body likely makes you twice as much stand out to mosquitoes. Conversely, genetic factors influence the volume of uric acid & other substances naturally released by each person. That makes some of you more easily detectable by mosquitos than others.
Some bacteria that naturally live on human skin affect our attractiveness to mosquitoes. Having extensive amounts of a few types of bacteria is making your skin more appealing to mosquitoes. Inversely, having lots of different bacteria spread among a greater diversity of different species of bacteria seemed to make skin less engaging. This also might be why mosquitoes are inclined to biting our ankles and feet because they naturally have more robust bacteria colonies.
What Can You Do?
Big Pharma experts know why relatively few people seem to seldom attract mosquitoes, and they are working for the following generation of insect repellents. Using chromatography they isolate the particular compounds these people release.
These natural "repellers" manage to naturally expel a handful of substances that mosquitoes don’t seem to find appealing.
Combining these molecules into bug sprays could make it possible for even Type O, exercising people, pregnant woman or joggers in black shirts get rid of mosquito bites for good.
One of the answers are ESSENTIAL OILS
What is a braceloil?
A Braceloil is an essential oil diffusing, re-useable, bracelet that repels annoying mosquitoes. Because most people already have essential oils at home, the braceloil is sold without the essential oil, but you can purchase extra bottles of essential oils at checkout.
The pad diffuses the oil to release the fragrance over a period of time. This gives you control over the protection level since you can 're-load' the essential oil as often as necessary.
Braceloil is re-useable so you can keep the bracelet for a very long time! When the essential oil has evaporated, simply purchase a replacement oil.
Can mosquitoes still bite you if you are wearing a Braceloil?
It is impossible to be 100% protected against mosquito bites: not even the strongest chemicals like DEET are 100% effective against them. If you are NOT in one of the cases listed above, you might avoid bites, but if you are in the 20% of people are 'high attractor types', an essential oil bracelet can greatly reduce the risk to be bitten.
Of course, whether you are prone or not to bites, using a Braceloil daily can significantly decrease the danger of mosquito bites. For maximum effectiveness, re-apply essential oil as the fragrance declines.
"The braceloil can considerably reduce the risk to be bitten. "
If you are in the 20% category, you can wear several braceloil. For example two on each ankle and wrist. ) Placing certain essential oils on nearby areas, tables, chairs and surrounding areas, and even on your skin helps keep mosquitoes away. But, you should always follow the recommendations of public health authorities for risky areas and always consult a doctor before you put essential oils on your skin.
How does a Braceloil work?
The direction is simple:
What chemicals are in Braceloil?
Braceloil DOES NOT contain chemicals; they use essential oils. You have to purchase your own Essential Oils. There are a lot of brands available on the internet at prices that are all over the place. An expensive Essential Oil may not be the best Essential Oil. It is expensive because the company that promotes it spends more on marketing and they are simply passing on the costs to the consumer.
All Essential Oils are 100% natural. They are designed as a daily wear alternative to the harsh chemicals typically found in repellent products.
No Spray Technology
You don't need anymore to spray your whole body or your kids to protect against mosquitoes. Just put the bracelet around your ankles or wrists and the essential oils will do wonder and will disrupt the ability of the mosquitoes to sense you.
Braceoil are on sale now at $18.99 $9.98

The best essential oils to repel mosquitoes are (ranked by effectiveness)
The best way to repel mosquitoes is to blend 10 drops of each essential oil in a vial. But you can also use Pure Citronella, which is the MOST EFFICIENT essential oil against mosquito bites.
Can you apply essential oils on your skin?
The essential oils are intended to be dropped onto the pad inserted in the Essential Oil Bracelet. The scent will diffuse around the person wearing it. When it comes to mosquito repellent, if you spread it on your skin, it will be absorbed by your body and will not diffuse as much as if you use a diffuser, and that will greatly reduce its efficiency.
Essential oils are natural and are safe if you spread them on your skin.
However, if you want to use the essential oils directly on your skin, you will need a carrier oil:
How long does the effect last?
All people and circumstances are different. With that in mind, Braceloil is designed to give you control over the strength of your repellent. Each bracelet comes with a vial of repellent oil (as an option) and you re-apply whenever the fragrance fades. It's all about you and your blood type (remember?)
Can kids use Braceloil?
YES! This product was designed to be and enjoyed by kids of all ages! But I recommend avoiding babies under 2 years old getting essential oils on their skin, so make sure the Essential Oil Bracelet is not leaking when applying to a baby.

How do Essential Bracelets work?
The Essential Bracelet diffuse your essential oils on the Go for up to several days!
The holes on the top of the bracelet allow you to enjoy the subtle and beneficial scent of your single or blended oils.
How To use:
The continuous heat from your body allows an ongoing, subtle smell for several days. When you want to add more or change the scent, remove it from the pocket and reapply oils as needed, or use a new pad. Blending essential oils is a good idea as the characteristics of each oil combine to give you a more potent repellent bracelet. Some essential oils make for a great diffusing scent.
Pads are fully reusable.
